Dengie Medibed Bale

Dengie Medibed Bale

The use of up-to-date extraction techniques and regular batch testing of the bedding, by independent laboratories, ensures that dust levels are kept to a minimum. Dengie Medi-Bed is treated with an effective disinfectant (harmless to horses) to inhibit the growth of moulds, bacteria, viruses and fungi. 8 out of 10 horses and ponies are discouraged from eating Medi-Bed, because it is treated with a non-toxic, bitter tasting additive. Unlike most other dust-free bedding products, Medi-Bed can be disposed of on a conventional muck heap, where it rots easily. Packed in easy to handle 140 litre (approximately 25kg) bales, Medi-Bed is ideal for use both at home and away at shows or on the racecourse. To start a Medi-Bed: Approximately 4-6 bales, will be required, depending on the size of stable. Only 1-2 bales per week are needed in most cases to maintain the bed.
