The Tetratec HT Heater is an easy to use reliable, precise heater with 0.5 degrees centigrade adjustments within a range of 20 to 32 degrees centigrade. It comes with a 2.5 metre mains cable, a safety run dry shut off, an electronic regulator and a 2 year guarantee. It is made with heat resistant borosilicate glass, can be used horizontally and is TUV/GS tested. To use simply attach the heater to the side of the aquarium with the suckers provided making sure it is fully submerged in an area where the water circulates well. Set the temperature dial to the required temperature and switch on. The indicator light will illuminate when the heater is in operation. Always read the instruction manual before use.

Guide to starting out with a new aquarium

When setting up an aquarium we recommend you have a fish tank with a filter system and not just a bowl. Most fish tanks nowadays come with the filter, pump and heater already in them but if they don't all these products can be bought at The Giant Pet Store. If you just buy the fish tank get a pump that will turn over all the water in the tank at least 7 times an hour.
